Consultant ENT (Head & Neck Surgery) - Riyadh

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage ENT and head and neck conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Perform advanced surgery involving the ear, nose, throat, salivary glands, thyroid, and head and neck regions.
• Evaluate and treat tumors, airway disorders, voice disorders, swallowing disorders, and complex ENT conditions.
• Conduct endoscopic examinations and use advanced diagnostic techniques.
• Manage preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists on complex cases.
• Participate in tumor boards and clinical case discussions.
• Provide emergency ENT coverage and consultation services.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and allied healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to quality improvement, audits, research, and continuing medical education.
• Maintain documentation and comply with hospital and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Medical degree, MBBS, or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Board certification, CCT, or fellowship in Otolaryngology (ENT).
• Fellowship or advanced training in Head and Neck Surgery is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience practicing as a Consultant ENT Specialist.
• Demonstrated expertise in head and neck surgery and comprehensive ENT care.
• Strong clinical, surgical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven leadership and multidisciplinary teamwork experience.
• Eligibility for licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Western Board Certification, including UK CCT, FRCS, American Board, Canadian Fellowship, Australian Fellowship, or equivalent.
• Experience in tertiary-care or academic medical centers.
• Research, teaching, or publication experience in ENT and Head and Neck Surgery.
