- Create meaningful impact for clients on projects such as decarbonisation pathways, electricity and water network innovation, climate risk, flexibility markets, and net zero business models
- Perform industry research, engage internal and external stakeholders, prepare client deliverables, and present findings
- Synthesise data into clear analyses and provide fact based recommendations for summary reports and presentations
- Support development of plans to implement recommendations and solutions
- Support development of client proposals and other business development activities
- Collaborate with Guidehouse colleagues globally and in related teams
Requirements
- Relevant undergraduate degree (e.g., engineering, energy, economics, mathematics, international business, physical sciences)
- 1 or more years of working experience in related fields
- Strong curiosity or experience in relevant industry topics (e.g., power systems, renewable energy integration, industry decarbonization)
- Experienced with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Right to work in the UAE (e.g., UAE National, Golden Visa) Note: Guidehouse provides visa sponsorship
- Fluent English language (written and spoken)
- Flexibility to work in UAE offices and other UAE locations as needed

Job Family and Practice Overview

- Our Communities, Energy and Infrastructure (CE&I) practice engages with leaders in energy and utility clients to successfully navigate the energy transition.
- We work across value chains creating decarbonisation strategies and helping drive forward solutions including demand response/flexibility, energy and water efficiency, smarter electricity grids and infrastructure, climate resilience and adaptation strategies and business transformation.
What You Will Do
- Create meaningful impact for our clients from projects on topics such as: decarbonisation pathways for transport, industry and heat, electricity and water network innovation, climate risk, mitigation and adaptation, flexibility markets, net zero business model opportunities, energy efficiency, whole
- Perform industry research, engage internal and external stakeholders, prepare client deliverables, and present findings to your project team and clients.
- Synthesise data into clear analyses and provide fact based recommendations and solutions for drafting summary reports and presentations.
- Support the development of plans to implement the recommendations and solutions proposed.
- Support the development of client proposals and other business development activities.
- Collaborate with Guidehouse colleagues globally and in related teams including those with a Public Sector and with a Sustainability focus.
What You Will Need
- Relevant undergraduate degree (e.g., engineering, energy, economics, mathematics, international business, physical sciences etc.).
- 1 (ONE) or more years of working experience in related fields.
- A strong curiosity, and/or experience, in a relevant industry topic such as: power systems, renewable energy integration, industry decarbonization, flexibility markets, electricity transmission & distribution planning, climate risk, mitigation & adaptation, the importance of water efficiency and inn
- Experienced with Microsoft products, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with other analytics tools a plus.
- Right to work in the UAE (e.g. UAE National, Golden Visa). Note Guidehouse does provide Visa sponsorship.
- Fluent English language (written and spoken).
- Flexibility to work with Guidehouse colleagues and/or client teams in our UAE offices and other UAE locations as needed.
What Would Be Nice To Have
- Relevant Master’s degree (e.g., engineering, energy, economics, mathematics, international business, physical sciences, etc.).
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Fluent Arabic language (written and spoken).
