- Lead and manage the Emergency Medicine Department, ensuring high standards of clinical care and operational efficiency
- Provide expert diagnosis and management of acute medical and surgical emergencies across all age groups
- Supervise and perform advanced emergency procedures including airway management, trauma resuscitation, cardiac emergencies, and critical care stabilization
- Develop and implement departmental policies, protocols, and evidence based practices
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance management of medical and nursing teams
- Mentor, train, and support junior doctors, residents, and allied health professionals
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and multidisciplinary teams to optimize emergency care pathways
- Lead departmental audits, CME activities, and quality improvement initiatives
- Represent the department in hospital committees and external professional forums
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Emergency Medicine
- Board certification or equivalent in Emergency Medicine
- Minimum 10–15 years post specialization experience, including proven HOD or senior leadership role
- Eligibility for licensing with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Demonstrated expertise in trauma, resuscitation, and critical emergency procedures
- Fluency in English
