Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, anorectal disorders and pelvic floor conditions.
- Perform colonoscopy, proctology procedures and colorectal surgery according to scope and privileges.
- Provide minimally invasive, laparoscopic or robotic approaches where available and clinically appropriate.
- Participate in tumour boards with oncology, radiology, pathology and gastroenterology teams.
- Guide stoma care, postoperative recovery, surveillance and long term patient counselling.
- Maintain consent, operative documentation, infection prevention and surgical quality standards.
Requirements
- Recognized specialist qualification such as American Board of Surgery with colorectal fellowship / ABCRS, UK CCT / FRCS with colorectal subspecialty training, European Board / national colorectal specialist recognition, Royal College Certification (Canada), Australian FRACS with colorectal fellowship, Arab Board, MS / DNB / FCPS or equivalent
- Eligibility for UAE licensing (DHA / DOH / MOH)
- Strong clinical judgement and commitment to evidence based practice
- Excellent communication skills with culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to UAE healthcare regulations and documentation standards

About The Role
- A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its colorectal, proctology, pelvic floor and minimally invasive surgical care and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Colorectal Surgeon to join its growing clinical team.
- The role is designed for internationally trained clinicians seeking career advancement, strong clinical exposure, and the ability to practice within a modern, quality driven healthcare environment serving a diverse international patient population.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, anorectal disorders and pelvic floor conditions.
