Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Perform comprehensive cardiac assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Interpret and report ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and other cardiac investigations
- Perform non invasive and, where credentialed, invasive cardiology procedures
- Manage acute cardiac emergencies in accordance with established clinical protocols
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, emergency physicians, and other specialists to provide coordinated patient care
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to teaching, mentoring, and continuing medical education activities
Requirements
- CCT UK or Board Certification
- Experience as a Consultant Cardiologist
- Ability to perform comprehensive cardiac assessments and develop treatment plans
- Proficiency in interpreting ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and other cardiac investigations
- Experience in managing acute cardiac emergencies
- Excellent clinical documentation skills
