A **Construction Supervisor / Site Supervisor** is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on a construction site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
They act as the key link between workers, contractors, engineers, and project managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate construction workers and subcontractors on-site
- Ensure work is carried out according to plans, specifications, and safety standards
- Monitor project progress and report updates to management
- Inspect work quality and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Manage site schedules, materials, and equipment usage
- Enforce health and safety procedures to prevent accidents
- Resolve on-site issues, delays, or conflicts quickly
- Maintain daily logs and documentation of site activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or site supervision
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
- Leadership and team management skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
