Role overview
The Construction Supervisor monitors operational activities to ensure work is completed correctly and projects remain on schedule.
The role supervises subcontractors and teams while coordinating materials, equipment, safety and construction activities.
Site supervision
- Direct daily subcontractor operations, issue timely material requisitions and inspect sites for hazards.
- Supervise and instruct teams, enforce safety rules and manage site accidents according to established protocols.
- Arrange equipment for excavation and oversee excavation, dewatering and shoring activities.
Construction activities
- Coordinate foundation, concrete forming, masonry, carpentry, bricklaying, backfilling, pipe laying, chambering and shuttering works.
- Evaluate contractor work plans, participate in claim resolution meetings and coordinate completion across teams.
- Perform progressive punch listing to support completion before acceptance.
Safety and administration
- Maintain employee attendance records and coordinate safety training with the HSE Supervisor.
