AECOM Buildings + Places Boston/New England’s architectural practice includes aviation, transit, research/science, higher education and federal/state/local government projects. AECOM is seeking a creative, experienced licensed Architect eligible for reciprocity in other states, or an architecturally trained professional in a New England state, with special preference for Massachusetts or Bangor/mid-coast Maine area. The position may involve travel within New England. The Construction Site Representative will act as the firm's primary representative during construction, providing observation, coordination, and communication between the Owner, Contractor, and design team. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong understanding of construction administration and public-sector projects. In this role, they would help solve design and technical issues on the construction site and in the office. As part of diverse teams, this role will help organize and execute business development efforts, meet client goals, negotiate resolutions for challenging issues and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards, in coordination with Project Managers, lead designers, Principals, BIM leaders, QA/QC reviewers and other practice leadership.

The Construction Site Representative will assist the contractor in bringing the design to fruition, utilizing their excellent communication skills, sound technical knowledge, while proactively identifying and resolving construction-related issues in the field. They will be the bridge between the design team and the site, while also supporting the Project Manager. Providing diplomacy, a collaborative spirit, and advocacy for appropriate procedures in a remote capacity are essential aspects of this role.
