Construction Project Manager

Undergraduate degree from an accredited post-secondary institution; or a Diploma in Civil, Process, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Design, Construction, Construction Management, or equivalent field from an accredited college.

Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA or PL.(Eng) with ASET, or eligible for registration within 6 months.

Interest in pursuing a career in construction contract administration, construction design coordination, and on- site inspection coordination.

5+ years of progressive experience in a construction management role.

Experience working for a consulting engineering firm and/or a construction firm.

Experience in water/wastewater treatment facility design and construction is an asset.

Experience with multi-discipline design coordination and construction.

Experience with monitoring and coordinating activities on a construction project including liaising with the

Client, Contractors, Approvals Officers, and Public as required.

Experience with preparing various contract administration paperwork including agendas, minutes, daily logs, photographic records, request for information, testing reports, change orders, deficiency lists, construction and certificates.

Experience with start-up and commissioning of mechanical systems, as well as post-construction warranty services.

Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated leadership skills and a committed team player.

Valid driver’s licence.
