AEMCOR is seeking a Construction Manager or Project Manager in India to support active construction projects in the United States.

The role provides project management and project controls support and works with U.S.-based project managers, contractors, consultants, and clients.

The position offers exposure to U.S. construction practices, project management, documentation, scheduling, and contract administration.

The position is based in India and supports U.S. construction projects.

Assist with day-to-day project management activities and track progress, milestones, deliverables, action items, deadlines, and potential delays.
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and clients.
Maintain project logs, trackers, schedules, reports, and project documentation.
Follow up on outstanding issues and prepare project status and management updates.

Prepare, review, track, and maintain RFI logs and coordinate responses with project teams.
Prepare and manage construction submittals and track submission, approval, rejection, and resubmission activity.
Identify overdue submittals that could affect procurement or construction schedules.
Maintain complete and organized RFI and submittal records.

Develop and maintain construction schedules using Primavera P6.
Update schedules based on actual progress and track planned versus actual performance.
Assist with baseline, look-ahead, recovery, and schedule updates.
Identify critical path activities and analyze schedule impacts from RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and unforeseen conditions.

Review drawings, specifications, schedules, daily reports, progress updates, photographs, and other field documentation.
Assist with architectural, structural, MEP, and other construction coordination.
Track change orders, potential change orders, project issues, meeting records, action items, and project reports.
Support U.S.-based project managers with project correspondence and documentation.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in construction project management, project controls, engineering, or construction administration.
Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and experience with construction RFIs and submittals.
Understanding of construction schedules, critical path, milestones, and project sequencing.
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
Strong Excel, Microsoft Office, written English, verbal English, organization, and attention to detail skills.
Ability to work with U.S.-based project teams and adapt to U.S. construction practices.

Experience supporting U.S. construction projects is preferred.
Experience with commercial, institutional, hospitality, infrastructure, or building construction is preferred.
Knowledge of U.S. construction documentation and project administration is preferred.
Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is preferred.
Knowledge of change orders, cost tracking, procurement, and construction contracts is preferred.
Experience preparing project reports and management dashboards is preferred.
