RBA Builders is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional ready to take on increased responsibility while further developing their expertise in project planning, coordination, and execution.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and driven individual who enjoys problem solving, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and playing an active role in managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.

Apply practical field experience to support construction operations, including coordination across multiple project types and scopes

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans, scopes, and specifications
Working knowledge of construction-related software, including scheduling tools and project management platforms

Project Management Software: Proficient in Procore (or similar platforms) for documentation control, coordination, and project tracking
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Analytical Ability: Capable of independently reviewing plans and project documents to identify potential issues and propose solutions
Technical Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); working knowledge of Bluebeam preferred
Time Management: Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
Problem Solving: Proactively identifies issues and contributes to effective solutions with minimal oversight
Organizational Skills: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage and maintain accurate records and project documentation
Team Collaboration: Collaborates effectively within team environments, contributing to shared project goals and outcomes
Initiative & Drive: Demonstrates initiative by taking on responsibilities, seeking improvements, and driving tasks forward independently
Professionalism: Dependable, punctual, and consistently maintains a professional and positive presence with team members and stakeholders

Procore Project Management Certified (preferred, not required)

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (preferred)

This role involves both office and site locations.
Physical demands include walking, standing, and occasional lifting.
The position requires visits to construction sites, including wearing appropriate safety PPE.
