Construction Manager responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning through completion.
The role coordinates contractors, site teams, suppliers, consultants, and stakeholders.

Position Details
- Department: Construction / Project Management.

- Work environment: On-site and project-based.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily construction activities and project execution.
- Develop schedules, work plans, milestones, and delivery targets.
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams.
- Monitor progress, productivity, costs, and resource requirements.
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Review plans, technical documentation, method statements, and schedules.
- Identify risks, delays, and issues and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate procurement, equipment requirements, and site logistics.
- Conduct site meetings, inspections, and progress reviews.
- Maintain records and communicate updates to senior management.
- Manage variations and construction-related change requests.
- Deliver projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Three or more years of relevant construction or project-management experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and site operations.
- Experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Strong understanding of construction quality and safety requirements.
- Leadership, communication, negotiation, budgeting, scheduling, and resource-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, AutoCAD, or similar tools is advantageous.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant construction certifications are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
