Construction Manager - PMC

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and delivery against established timelines and costs.
• Coordinate subcontractors, construction teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards, and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, progress updates, change orders, submittals, and construction records.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues while managing project communications.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols across project sites.

Qualifications

• At least 12 years of construction management experience on large-scale or mixed-use projects.
• Project Management Consultant or similar advisory experience.
• Knowledge of UAE construction codes, regulations, and building standards.
• Expertise in scheduling, budgeting, cost control, safety, risk management, and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with construction management and project management tools such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
• Ability to lead diverse teams, solve problems, manage details, and handle concurrent projects.
• UAE or Middle Eastern project experience is preferred.

Workplace

• The role is based on-site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
• New hires must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location.
