Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee mixed-use construction from pre-construction planning through completion and handover.
• Manage schedules, budgets, resources, contractors, subcontractors, construction teams, and vendors.
• Monitor progress, implement corrective actions, and manage project risks and issues.
• Ensure compliance with UAE codes, safety regulations, environmental standards, and project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits and maintain project documentation and reports.
• Manage stakeholder communications and review change orders, submittals, and construction documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 12 years of construction management experience on large-scale or mixed-use projects.
• Experience as a Project Management Consultant or in a similar advisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, regulations, and building standards.
• Expertise in scheduling, budgeting, cost control, construction safety, and risk management.
• Proficiency with construction management and project management tools, including Primavera or Microsoft Project.
• Strong leadership, team management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects; UAE or Middle Eastern project experience is preferred.

On-Site Requirement

• The role includes regular construction site inspections and work on project sites.
• Newly hired employees must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location.
