Role Overview
Parsons is seeking an accomplished ITS Construction Manager to lead complex intelligent transportation systems projects.
The role oversees multiple ITS construction and deployment projects from initiation through final handover.
The position is responsible for technical, operational, commercial, and administrative delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead ITS programs and achieve project objectives, milestones, budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
- Direct resident engineers, senior ITS engineers, and multidisciplinary supervision teams.
- Coordinate contractors, clients, authorities, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee ITS deployment, integration, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness.
- Review performance, manage risks, and implement mitigation and recovery strategies.
- Lead technical reviews, project meetings, progress assessments, and coordination workshops.
- Direct claims, variations, disputes, contractor performance, and other commercial activities.
- Integrate ITS with transportation infrastructure, traffic management centers, communications networks, and smart city platforms.
- Prepare executive reports, project dashboards, and strategic recommendations.
- Build and mentor high-performing project teams.
