Role Description
This is a part-time, remote Construction Manager role responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction-related activities across multiple projects.
The Construction Manager will monitor project progress, ensure adherence to safety standards, and support budget management and cost control.
Daily tasks include reviewing project plans, tracking schedules and milestones, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and identifying risks or issues that may affect delivery.
The role also involves implementing project control processes, preparing progress reports, and recommending improvements to optimize construction performance.
The Construction Manager will work closely with project teams to maintain quality standards while aligning with client expectations and organizational guidelines.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated supervisory skills, including team coordination, performance oversight, and clear communication with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with budgeting and cost control, including tracking expenditures, forecasting costs, and supporting financial reporting for construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction and construction safety, including best practices, regulatory requirements, and site safety protocols.
- Familiarity with project control practices, such as schedule tracking, risk identification, documentation, and progress reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proficiency with common project management and collaboration tools; ability to work effectively in a remote, part-time environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Experience managing or supporting multiple projects simultaneously; prior consulting or training experience in construction is a plus.
