Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate construction activities so projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
Manage construction teams, subcontractors, resources, problem-solving, and decisions arising during construction.
Construction and Commercial Responsibilities
- Manage project cost controls, including analysis, cost planning, commercial management, and contract administration.
- Establish and maintain projected line-item costs for preliminaries and consumables.
- Develop approaches that support project earnings and maintain the quality and value of services and goods.
- Monitor value engineering, track changes, and reconcile variations.
- Manage project insurance requirements and allocation of assets and liabilities.
- Identify design risks and hazards that could result in claims or disputes.
- Participate in tendering and report potential discrepancies.
- Manage human resources processes, including mobilization and demobilization.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with and development of safety policies and procedures across project personnel.
- Support HSE initiatives, safety awareness activities, incident reporting, and resolution under company and IMS policies.
