About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to lead configuration management processes, governance, and lifecycle controls across software, hardware, infrastructure, and documentation assets.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement configuration management strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives
- Establish and maintain configuration baselines, CI records, version control processes, and lifecycle documentation
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, IT operations, cybersecurity, QA, product management, and other teams
- Manage configuration identification, change control, status accounting, audits, and verification activities
- Monitor KPIs including configuration accuracy, change success rate, audit compliance, baseline integrity, and release readiness
- Oversee CMDBs, version control repositories, asset inventories, and documentation systems
- Coordinate configuration audits, FCAs, PCAs, and compliance reviews
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, ISO standards, IT service management frameworks, cybersecurity requirements, and regulatory standards
- Support release management, deployment planning, disaster recovery, incident management, and CAB activities
- Utilize configuration management tools, ITSM platforms, version control systems, ERP systems, and reporting tools
- Prepare configuration status reports, audit documentation, compliance dashboards, and executive summaries
- Lead, mentor, and develop configuration analysts, specialists, and cross functional teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in configuration management, IT service management, software configuration, systems engineering, DevOps, or related technical roles
- 2+ years of experience managing configuration management programs, CMDBs, release processes, or technical teams preferred
- Strong understanding of configuration management principles, change management, version control, SDLC, ITIL practices, CMDB administration, and quality management systems
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Jira, ServiceNow, CMDBs, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and business intelligence tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, cloud platforms, cybersecurity controls, DevSecOps practices, ISO standards, and software asset management is advantageous
- Strong analytical, organizational, technical, project management, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and cross functional collaboration abilities
- Ability to maintain configuration integrity while balancing operational efficiency, governance, compliance, and business objectives
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Jira, ServiceNow, CMDBs, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI
- Familiarity with CI/CD, IaC, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, ISO standards, software asset management advantageous
- Strong analytical, organizational, technical, project management, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and cross functional collaboration abilities
- Ability to maintain configuration integrity while balancing efficiency, governance, compliance, and business objectives
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
