Job Purpose
Ensure accurate product configuration structures and associated data through consistent policies, procedures, training, and quality standards.
Optimize data flow and resolve information issues affecting production, order processing, and the total order cycle.
Configuration and Data Management
- Develop and maintain product configuration data, Bills of Material, and manufacturing routings in integrated business systems.
- Create and manage configuration rules for product models, validation, pricing, and manufacturing processes.
- Create and manage change orders for new product introductions and ongoing business maintenance.
- Analyze engineering change requests and Bill of Material redline changes.
Testing and Improvement
- Develop and execute testing strategies to align product configurations with product design intent and marketing requirements.
- Troubleshoot system, process, and data issues using root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement, data cleansing, and process standardization initiatives.
