Role Overview

Concierge role in Rooms & Guest Services Operations at a Marriott property in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

The schedule is full time, the position is non-management, and the work is performed at the property.

Guest Service Responsibilities

  • Arrange transportation, reservations, dry cleaning, and other services in response to guest requests.
  • Handle special requests, follow up on satisfaction, and provide information about property amenities, events, and surrounding activities.
  • Answer and process guest calls, messages, questions, requests, and concerns.
  • Coordinate with Bellperson, Housekeeping, and other departments to resolve guest issues.
  • Review shift logs and daily memo books and record pertinent information in logbooks.
  • Monitor club lounge seating, service, safety, and guest well-being.

Service and Compliance Duties

  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions and complete required safety training and certifications.
  • Follow company policies, maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
  • Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and provide professional communication and telephone etiquette.
  • Build positive working relationships, support team goals, comply with quality assurance standards, and perform supervisor-requested duties.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification.
  • No related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
  • No license or certification is required.

Physical Requirements

  • The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for an extended period or an entire work shift.
  • The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
