The Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) area in the Computing and Mathematical Sciences Division at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) is looking for passionate and highly motivated Faculty in the field of Human-Computer Interaction.

For this role, we are specifically seeking a mid-career to senior academic expert who positions data visualization as the central mechanism for enabling human-data interaction, enhancing human reasoning, and supporting collaborative decision-making.

The ideal candidate will bring an established research agenda that demonstrates how advanced visual interfaces serve as the core framework for these human-AI and data collaborations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring students, contributing to curriculum development, and will also have the opportunity to collaborate with leading AI researchers.

We are seeking faculty at all levels (Assistant, Associate, Full Professor).
