The Information Technology Services Division oversees critical technology projects and maintains department infrastructure, including networks, servers, and workstations.
Role Overview
The Body Worn Camera Unit Customer Service Section is seeking a Computer Associate Operations II under general supervision.
The role provides citywide technical diagnosis, Active Directory administration, queue management, service desk support, and specialized hardware provisioning.
Responsibilities
- Resolve ServiceNow incidents, diagnose end-user issues, document troubleshooting, and route tickets to appropriate technical groups.
- Configure, replace, restore, and provision issued iPhones using AirWatch or Microsoft Intune.
- Troubleshoot body-worn cameras, manage transfers, upload footage to Evidence.com, and resolve equipment issues.
- Serve walk-in personnel, manage intake worksheets, coordinate task priorities, and document technical solutions.
- Communicate active technical issues to supervisors and escalate critical incidents to Level 2 or Level 3 support.
