Composite Technician

At Multimatic, you’ll work with a team that designs and builds advanced composite components used in some of the coolest automotive and motorsport applications in the world. You’ll learn laminating and cutting-edge skills with advanced materials, and gain experience with technologies such as autoclaves, molds, carbon fiber layups, structural bonding, and more.

You will be:

Learning how to laminate and vacuum bag carbon fiber and other composite materials for curing in an autoclave

Working with autoclaves and ovens to cure Composite Materials

Getting hands-on experience in the building and assembly of composite components and substructures

Cutting, trimming, bonding, and finishing composite parts to precise specifications

Gaining knowledge in how to interpret lamination and assembly manuals

Growing your abilities in helping create master molds and patterns

Maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, and attention to detail

Collaborating closely with supervisors, leads, and QA to meet project timelines and quality expectations

Keeping your work area safe, clean, and organized

Participating in continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen, GEAR and ISO-based processes

With training, you are comfortable using sanders, grinders, cutters, drills, gram scales, scissors, knives and other power tools
