Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Composite Technician role based in Abu Dhabi.
The technician will be responsible for tasks including cutting, laminating, assembling, and finishing a variety of composite materials for boat-building projects.
Additional responsibilities include performing repairs, operating specialized tools, and ensuring that all work complies with safety and quality standards.
The Composite Technician will collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results on all assigned projects.
Qualifications
- Experience in composite fabrication, including cutting, laminating, and assembling materials
- Proficiency in using composite manufacturing tools and equipment
- Knowledge of boat-building processes, including composite repairs and finishing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Experience in a marine manufacturing environment is preferred
- Basic understanding of workplace health and safety protocols
