Component Engineer to support wiring harness design of non circuit bearing components (plastic and metal) for multiple Ford programs (Low Voltage and High Voltage).

Design Components (metal and plastic) for Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) - Ford customer unit

Project Management responsibilities including but not limited to: Generating timing plans for internal and external customers. Coordinating periodic meetings with supplier to insure project timing is met. Frequent follow-up thru email and phone with suppliers thru project completion Interfacing with suppliers Clear communication with suppliers, internal & external customers, production & proto plants.

Conduct design review meetings to ensure design agreement.

Solicit design requirements from internal and customer sources if they are not clearly established.

Develop Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) Issue test requests.

Issue Request for Quotes (RFQs).

Write FEA requests.

Forecast & request Capital spending.
