Role overview
Lead the company's Compliance Verification function while remaining actively involved as a Compliance Verification Engineer.
Work with the Head of Airworthiness and technical leadership as the organisation progresses toward certification and production.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and develop the Compliance Verification function.
- Define governance, signatory scopes, and delegation processes.
- Develop and maintain the Compliance Verification framework.
- Act as a Compliance Verification Engineer and signatory.
- Provide functional leadership to the wider CVE community.
- Support certification activities and aviation authority engagement.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Airworthiness, and Certification teams during aircraft development.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer.
- Strong understanding of aircraft certification and Design Organisation requirements.
- Experience in new aircraft development, certification programmes, or major aircraft modifications.
- Ability to establish governance, processes, and technical frameworks.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Experience with eVTOL, electric aircraft, CS-23, Part 21, or other aircraft development programmes is advantageous.
