Role Summary
As Compliance Testing Engineer , you will lead the compliance testing function at Amperesand, ensuring our products not only meet global regulatory requirements but do so with the most favorable interpretations and the least friction. You’ll own the strategic direction for product compliance, partner with engineering and product leadership to define certification pathways early in the development process, and engage directly with NRTLs such as TUV, Intertek, UL, CSA, and global authorities to shape testing outcomes and timelines.
This is a key role requiring technical depth, organizational influence, and proactive engagement with evolving standards like UL 1741-SB , IEC 60730 , and IEEE 1547.1 . Your mission is to ensure Amperesand is always one step ahead—never waiting for compliance, but defining it.
