Compliance Risk Analyst, Client Onboarding

1 to 4 years of experience in Underwriting, Compliance, Risk, Merchant Acquiring, financial services, fintech, or a related industry.

Experience supporting customer due diligence, identity verification, sanctions screening, merchant onboarding, or similar operational compliance processes.

Familiarity with verifying regulatory licenses, business registrations, and public records.

Experience working within established Standard Operating Procedures and contributing to process documentation and continuous improvement.

Experience using identity verification, screening, case management, or workflow platforms such as Persona, Jira, Zendesk, or similar tools.

Strong analytical, organizational, and investigative skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and meeting established service levels.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Criminal Justice, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Familiarity with Merchant Acquiring, Payment Facilitators, payment processors, or other regulated financial services.

Working knowledge of Visa and Mastercard Rules and merchant onboarding requirements.

Experience supporting payment industry compliance, underwriting, or operational risk teams.

ACAMS, CAFP, or other relevant compliance or payments industry certification.

The pay range for this position is $115,000 for base pay for local Palo Alto candidates. The pay range for this position for remote candidates in the US is $100,000.
