Overview

  • PJT Partners is seeking to hire a compliance professional covering business lines operating on behalf of PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia). This is a new, stand alone role reporting into the Head of Compliance for the Middle East (based in Dubai) offering a unique opportunity for a self driven individual

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure policies and procedures governing activities of PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia) are current and meet local regulatory expectations
  • Advise the Strategic Advisory and Restructuring teams in Saudi Arabia in their execution activities and provide independent oversight
  • Facilitate regulatory interactions and regulatory reporting with the Capital Market Authority (CMA), and other relevant governmental bodies
  • Monitor licensing and registration requirements for PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia) personnel
  • Track, assess and advise the firm in relation to regulatory developments in Saudi Arabia
  • Provide local support for the Finance and Operations functions in the region
  • Play a pivotal role connecting the Saudi team with colleagues in London and New York, fostering collaboration and consistency across regional and global operations

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience as a compliance professional (either at a financial services firm, consultancy or regulator)
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong knowledge of the rules and procedures of the CMA
  • Familiarity with M&A, capital markets, and fund marketing services
  • Fluent in Arabic, with strong proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to take initiative and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, while effectively collaborating with global Legal & Compliance and broader Corporate teams
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, prioritization and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated risk and control awareness
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
