Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the compliance team and related governance initiatives
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Conduct compliance reviews, audits, risk assessments, and gap analyses
- Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective actions when necessary
- Collaborate with legal, operations, HR, finance, and leadership teams to ensure regulatory adherence
- Maintain compliance documentation, records, and reporting frameworks
- Deliver compliance training and awareness programs across the organization
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations
- Prepare compliance reports and provide recommendations to executive leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, Risk Management, Compliance, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, governance, audit, or related roles
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role preferred
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks, corporate governance, and risk management principles
- Experience conducting audits, compliance assessments, and policy reviews
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and investigative skills
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Professional certifications such as CRCM, CCEP, CAMS, ICA, or equivalent are advantageous
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
