About the Role
A leading firm is seeking a Compliance Officer with DFSA or FSRA COBS experience to act as Compliance Officer & MLRO for client firms. You will complete compliance monitoring, draft reports, and advise on advisory issues.

Responsibilities
- Act as the Compliance Officer & MLRO for client firms
- Complete all required Compliance monitoring and drafting reports including recommendations on control enhancements or procedural changes where required
- Ensure that both AML & Compliance systems operating properly and all staff properly trained on such
- Assist in all required reporting to the FSRA
- Advise client firms on advisory issues on an ongoing basis
Requirements
- At least five years experience in Conduct of Business compliance from the buy and/or sell side
- At least two years proper Compliance experience under the DFSA or FSRA COBS (Conduct of Business Rulebook)
- Good understanding of AML requirements
- Must live in or close to the centre of Abu Dhabi
- Willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi if currently living in South of Dubai/Jebel Ali etc.

Role Overview
- We are recruiting for a leading firm seeking candidates with recent experience of DFSA or FSRA COBS Compliance.
- Salary: AED 35K – 55K PM + Benefits, Abu Dhabi.
Duties
- Acting as the Compliance Officer & MLRO for client firms.
- Completing all required Compliance monitoring and drafting reports including recommendations on control enhancements or procedural changes where required.
- Ensuring that both AML & Compliance systems operating properly and all staff properly trained on such.
- Assisting in all required reporting to the FSRA.
- Advising client firms on advisory issues on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Must live in or close to the centre of Abu Dhabi.
- At least five years experience in Conduct of Business compliance from the buy and/or sell side (and a good understanding of AML requirements, even if not worked in an AML role before).
- Some of which must have recently been with a firm regulated by the DFSA or FSRA.
- At least two years proper Compliance experience under the DFSA or FSRA COBS (Conduct of Business Rulebook).
- Onshore experience e.g. CMA/SCA (or just AML) is not relevant for this role.
