Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls
- Monitor and ensure compliance with UAE laws and regulations relevant to real estate development
- Identify compliance risks and implement mitigation measures
- Keep management informed of regulatory changes
- Review contracts, agreements, and business processes for compliance
- Conduct compliance reviews, audits, and investigations
- Prepare compliance reports and maintain records
- Deliver compliance awareness and training programs
- Act as main point of contact with regulators, auditors, and legal advisors
- Support initiatives related to corporate governance, anti bribery, AML, and ethical practices
Requirements
- At least 5 years of compliance experience within the UAE
- Fluency in both English and Arabic, spoken and written
- Hands on experience in the real estate development sector
- Strong knowledge of UAE compliance regulations, corporate governance, risk management, and AML
- Experience in developing compliance frameworks, conducting audits and risk assessments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Professional compliance certifications (ICA, CAMS, or similar) are an advantage
