ASB Bank is growing its Compliance & Regulatory Affairs team and hiring multiple compliance specialists across several roles including Senior Manager and Manager/Analyst positions.

Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to initiatives that strengthen compliance risk management across ASB
- Support the ongoing development and embedding of the Compliance and Policy Framework
- Provide strong Line 2 oversight across incidents and customer remediation, identifying themes and ensuring consistent application of standards
- Drive consistent identification, escalation and management of compliance issues and incidents
- Deliver clear insights, trends and reporting to support better decision making and risk visibility
- Partner closely with stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, and the business to enable effective and transparent outcomes
- Contribute to governance forums and provide thought leadership and constructive challenge
Requirements
- Experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory environments within financial services
- Proven ability to navigate complexity and competing priorities
- Experience building relationships and influencing senior stakeholders
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights and clear reporting
- Confidence to provide challenge and thought leadership at senior levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- We’re looking for a number of Compliance specialists to join our team reporting into the Head of Compliance Management Framework, supporting enterprise wide initiatives that strengthen compliance risk management and deliver sustainable, customer focused outcomes.
Ngā tūranga | The opportunities
- We have several roles available across the Compliance Management Framework team: Senior Manager – Incidents & Remediation; Manager / Analyst – Incidents & Remediation; Senior Manager – Oversight; Senior Manager – Policy & Framework.
- Each role contributes to the design, oversight and continuous improvement of ASB’s Compliance Management Framework, supporting effective risk management and strong customer outcomes.
Te tūranga | What you’ll be doing
- Lead and contribute to initiatives that strengthen compliance risk management across ASB.

- Confidence to provide challenge and thought leadership at senior levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience engaging with senior leadership and governance forums.
- For Senior Roles: Experience leading teams and driving strategic outcomes; A track record of delivering enterprise level change or framework uplift; Extensive experience within medium to large financial services environments.
