Part-time hybrid Compliance Director role based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work from home.

Oversees compliance frameworks for GCC MUG activities and ensures alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

Develop and maintain compliance policies and monitor regulatory changes.
Advise the board and committees on compliance risks and mitigations.
Review contracts, financial processes, and governance documents for legal and regulatory adherence.
Support controls for events, memberships, and partnerships.
Prepare compliance reports and coordinate audits or reviews as needed.
Promote ethical conduct and accountability across the community.

Strong expertise in compliance management and regulatory compliance, including compliance program design and implementation.
Knowledge of legal compliance frameworks for professional associations, events, and GCC data privacy.
Advanced analytical skills for risk assessment and interpretation of complex regulations.
Understanding of finance, budgeting, financial controls, membership fees, sponsorships, and event expenditures.
Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business, or a related field.
