Compliance Director

The Compliance Director at STE BYN is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the organization’s compliance framework and ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

This role includes developing and updating compliance policies, monitoring regulatory changes, and advising leadership on compliance risks and mitigation strategies.

The Compliance Director will conduct periodic compliance reviews, coordinate internal audits, and prepare reports and recommendations for senior management.

The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed compliance requirements into business processes, delivering training and guidance to team members, and responding to compliance-related inquiries or incidents.

• Candidates should possess strong Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance skills, including the ability to design, implement, and maintain effective compliance programs.
• Candidates should possess solid Legal Compliance and Finance knowledge to interpret regulatory requirements and assess their impact on financial and operational activities.
• Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate risk, analyze data from audits and reviews, and recommend practical, evidence-based solutions.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to present complex compliance issues clearly and collaborate across teams.
• Candidates should possess experience in policy development, audit preparation, and compliance training; prior leadership experience in a compliance-related role is beneficial.
• Relevant academic background such as a degree in law, finance, business, or a related field, and professional certifications in compliance or risk management (e.g., CCEP, CRCM) are advantageous.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time environment.
