- The role is hybrid and requires working an average of two days per week from an HPE office.
Role overview
Lead complex, global infrastructure programs involving data centers and private cloud implementations.
The work spans distributed teams, customer stakeholders, infrastructure engineers, architects, vendors, and multiple regions.
Program delivery
- Lead multisite data center and private cloud implementations across compute, storage, network, security, facilities, and operations.
- Own integrated program plans and execution playbooks for site readiness, build, migrations, cutover, rollback, and hypercare.
- Manage dependencies, critical paths, scope, schedule, budget, change control, RAID, reporting, and milestone accountability.
- Manage customer engagement, status cadence, expectations, and go or no-go readiness for migrations and go-lives.
Infrastructure transformation
- Partner with engineers and architects to validate designs and lead implementation, testing, and go-live.
- Lead data center exits and consolidations, cloud migrations, discovery, dependency mapping, cutover, decommissioning, and CMDB or asset updates.
