Complex Disability Support Worker / Team Lead

Qualifications/Requirements

• A diploma in a human services field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Disability Studies, etc.) or a degree in any discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution is required.
• Minimum two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges (e.g., dual diagnosis, complex needs, high-risk youth).
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Own vehicle with a valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.

Compensation

• This is a combined frontline and leadership role, and compensation reflects both functions:
• Team Lead hours: $29.64 per hour to start.
• Direct Support hours: $24.07 – $25.03 per hour to start.

Schedule

• This is a full-time position with a split schedule across both functions:
• Direct Support (Frontline): Monday – Wednesday, 08:00 – 16:00
• Team Lead: Saturday – Sunday, 08:00 – 16:00
