Responsibilities
Lead - Completion Engineer
Completion Engineering and Operations:
Design, plan, and execute completion engineering operations to achieve well objectives on time and within budget while minimizing environmental impact.
Conduct engineering analyses to ensure completion designs meet well objectives efficiently, focusing on sand face completion concept selection, tubing stress analysis, and completion fluids.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure all completion activities adhere to AWEL policies and relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Carry out risk assessments for completion operations and communicate findings to relevant personnel.
Technical Documentation and Support:
Assist in preparing Technical Scopes of Work for third-party services and completion rig contracts, aligned with the tendering strategy.
Lead technical evaluations of third-party services and completion contracts.
Collaboration and Communication:
Organize onshore and offshore Completion Work Optimization Plans (CWOP) meetings to familiarize key personnel with completion plans.
Maintain computer models to track and predict key completion parameters and performance metrics.
Post-Completion Activities:
Compile well recaps, including the Final Well Report, and facilitate post-well review meetings to capture lessons learned.
Develop and maintain comprehensive well files and performance tracking in accordance with established formats.
