Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and compliant installation, inspection, and maintenance of all electrical and instrumentation equipment within hazardous (Ex) areas, adhering strictly to ATEX and IECEx standards.
- Develop and implement robust testing procedures for Ex rated equipment, including intrinsically safe circuits, flameproof enclosures, and increased safety systems, to guarantee operational integrity.
- Perform detailed risk assessments and hazard analyses specifically for E&I systems in explosive atmospheres, identifying potential ignition sources and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Troubleshoot complex E&I system failures in hazardous zones, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
