Responsibilities
- Design and manage compensation structures, including salary benchmarking and grading frameworks
- Lead pay review processes, including merit increases and bonus schemes
- Review employee benefits programmes and advise on enhancements
- Ensure compliance with local employment law, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
- Contribute to total reward strategies to support attraction and retention
- Analyse compensation data and present actionable insights to stakeholders

Role Overview
- Mauve Group is seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Specialist / Consultant on a freelance self employed basis to support Global HR & Advisory Services.
- The ideal candidate will be self employed or able to deliver consultancy services alongside existing commitments, providing expert compensation and benefits advice to clients across multiple countries on an ad hoc basis.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, or related field, and/or relevant professional qualification.
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits, ideally within an international context.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable reward frameworks across multiple countries.
- Proven ability to develop pay and grading structures.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Commercial awareness with practical, solution focused approach.
- Ability to build relationships and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
