The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Community Relations Manager to lead community engagement strategies, stakeholder relationships, and social impact initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement community relations strategies, engagement frameworks, social impact programs, and stakeholder communication plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, local organizations, nonprofit organizations, government entities, educational institutions, industry associations, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead community engagement initiatives, outreach programs, public forums, partnership activities, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Government Affairs, Sustainability, Marketing, Human Resources, Operations, Legal, and Executive Leadership to deliver impactful community programs.
  • Conduct community needs assessments, stakeholder analysis, social impact evaluations, and engagement planning to identify opportunities for meaningful collaboration.
  • Manage community feedback channels, address stakeholder concerns, facilitate dialogue, and support resolution of community related issues.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including community engagement levels, program participation, stakeholder satisfaction, social impact outcomes, partnership effectiveness, and reputation metrics.
  • Develop and manage community relations budgets, program schedules, vendor relationships, and external partnership agreements.
  • Ensure community initiatives align with organizational values, sustainability goals, ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance policies.
  • Plan and coordinate community events, awareness campaigns, volunteer programs, educational initiatives, and public engagement activities.
  • Drive digital engagement initiatives through community platforms, social media channels, stakeholder management tools, data analytics, and reporting solutions.
  • Utilize stakeholder management systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, project management tools, and analytics platforms to track engagement performance and generate actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Sciences, Community Development, Business Administration, Sustainability, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or professional certifications in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sustainability, Public Relations, Stakeholder Engagement, Project Management (PMP), or related disciplines are advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in community relations, corporate social responsibility, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, communications, nonprofit management, or related roles.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing community programs, stakeholder initiatives, social impact projects, or external engagement activities preferred.
  • Strong understanding of community engagement strategies, stakeholder management, CSR programs, social impact measurement, public relations, and partnership development.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, stakeholder engagement tools, social media management platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, project management software, and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with sustainability initiatives, ESG frameworks, community investment programs, public private partnerships, cultural engagement, and social responsibility practices is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, communication, relationship building, presentation, negotiation, organizational, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple community initiatives while balancing stakeholder expectations, organizational objectives, budgets, compliance requirements, and social impact goals.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in remote and hybrid environments, with flexibility to attend community events, public meetings, and stakeholder engagements as required.
