About the position: Working 7.5-hour shifts, overtime maybe required.
The CHR aims to empower community members to make healthy decisions, through demonstrating, teaching and providing support and encouragement with a focus on addressing health needs of the community
Qualifications: Suitable candidates will have a minimum Grade 12; Community Health Representative certificate or related health care certificate; Combination of Education and Experience may be considered; Basic computer skills; Certified First Aide & CPR and Safe Food Handling Certificate required or willing to obtain; Excellent organizational skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team; Ability to speak/understand Cree is an asset; Experience working with First Nations Communities is an asset; Candidates must have a valid driver’s license.
