The City of St. Albert is recruiting an individual to join our Communications & Public Affairs department as a Communications Advisor. Reporting to the Communications Supervisor, this position will be responsible for supporting the communications needs of the corporation and individual City of St. Albert departments.

We offer a compressed bi-weekly work schedule of 72 hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00 – 5:00, with a biweekly regular day off (RDO).
There is a requirement to work occasional evenings and weekends.

This is a term position until November 2028, with the possibility of an extension.
This assignment is covering an employee on leave and is subject to their early return.
The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of educational and professional credentials.
The successful applicant will be required to obtain a satisfactory police information check.

A valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s Licence and access to a personal vehicle for business use are required.
Candidates must live within a reasonably commutable distance to the City of St. Albert to maintain occasional or emergent onsite attendance. Candidates must also complete a remote work agreement to meet policy requirements.
