- Provide guidance to multi discipline Completion Engineers to meet completion milestones
- Establish and approve Completion Management philosophy, procedures, and execution strategy
- Verify and advise EPC contractor on systemization, subsystem breakdown, and completion sequencing
- Review completion/turnover deliverables issued by EPC Contractor
- Lead system walkdowns and final acceptance inspections
- Monitor overall completion status, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Report completion progress, key issues, and readiness status to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics) or equivalent
- Twenty (20) years of relevant experience in completion/turnover within commissioning/operation readiness environment
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
- Experience in GCC region preferred
- Proficient knowledge of systemization, P&IDs, and completion processes
- Familiarity with international standards (API, ASME, IEC)

Overview
- KBR is looking for a Commissioning Manager Offshore with experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for PMC project.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics) or equivalent from an accredited university with twenty (20) years of relevant experience in the completion/turnover within commissioning / operation readiness environment with experience in GCC region as preference.
- Must have at least (5) years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects with preference of commissioning sour gas, Utilities, Power Steam and Generation and air separation projects.
- Well verse with Completion Management System as super user, and reporting application are preferred.
- Familiar with large database populations checking and quantifying completion data.
Job Purpose
- Onshore Completion Lead for onshore facilities will provide guidance to his multi discipline Completion Engineers to meet completion milestones through various phases of the project from Construction completion to pre commissioning, commissioning activities and to achieve successful startup and proj
- Lead, manage, and govern all Mechanical Completion, Pre Commissioning, and System Handover activities on behalf of ADNOC, ensuring all project systems are completed, certified, and handed over in full compliance with ADNOC standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Establish and approve Completion Management philosophy, procedures, and execution strategy
- Onshore Completion Lead shall provide guidance to his completion Team, EPC contractor, Sub Contractors.
- Verify and advise EPC contractor on systemization, subsystem breakdown, and completion sequencing to aligned with start up priorities.
- Provide advice and support for Sr. Commissioning Manager as and when required.
- Review completion/turnover deliverables issued by EPC Contractor.
- Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems.
- Participate in completion and commissioning meetings and other related meetings.
- Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.
- Establish punch management strategy and acceptance criteria and monitor the Punch List close out activities prior to system acceptance.
- To ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.
- To ensure Project Completion Management System Database populations are reliable for project tracking and monitoring prior to completion acceptance.
- To ensure the implementation of completion deliverables is progressing as per commissioning sequence plan and project schedule.
