Responsibilities
- Program wall panels, switches, thermostats, relay modules (actuators), and DALI gateways
- Work with group and physical addresses, topology, and device parameterization
- Configure device integrations, automations, and scenes
- Edit project structure in ETS
- Diagnose the KNX bus, troubleshoot faults, addressing conflicts, and incorrect parameterization
- Work with YAML and GUI configuration
- Work with routers, switches, and Wi Fi access points
- Configure and verify IP addressing: DHCP, static IP, reservations, DNS
- Verify device reachability: IP scanner, device web interfaces, and check connection ports on the switch
- Configure and integrate audio / multiroom systems: Sonos, WiiM, or equivalent solutions
Requirements
- Confident hands on experience with KNX (ETS5/ETS6) is required
- Experience with Home Assistant is required
- Advanced English language knowledge is required
- Two years of experience commissioning smart home or automation systems
- Ability to read and interpret a KNX project
- Experience integrating devices and systems via REST API
- Basic understanding of networking: IP, routers, switches, and how they interact
- Precision, attention to detail, and thoroughness are essential

Who we are looking for
- A precise and detail oriented commissioning engineer with knowledge of KNX and Home Assistant, for a fixed term temporary project.
