Responsibilities
- Perform technical tasks related to pre commissioning, commissioning, start up, test run, training and operation activities
- Interface with engineering disciplines, licensors, vendors and subcontractors
- Provide support during Pre Start up Safety Reviews (PSSR) meetings, HSE meetings
- Perform frequent safety and quality observations in the field and report findings
- Coordinate root cause analysis investigations and prepare relevant reports
- Provide technical overview of production activities and recommend solutions
- Review and comment on operating manuals and procedures
- Participate in design reviews (e.g. HAZOP, 3D model, Commissionability review meetings)

Job Overview
- Perform technical tasks assigned by Project Commissioning and Operation Lead related to pre commissioning, commissioning, start up, test run, training and operation activities.
- Interface with engineering disciplines, licensors, vendors and subcontractors.
- Execute design activities relevant to QA/QC, fire fighting, HSE, integrated control systems, production strategies, and more.
Tasks
- Ensure all activities are done in full compliance with HSE requirements.
- Provide support during Pre Start up Safety Reviews (PSSR) meetings, HSE meetings, etc.
- Perform frequent safety and quality observations in the field and report findings.
- Provide support during preparation of progress reports.
- Provide support during execution of Pre Commissioning, Commissioning & Start up activities.
- Identify solutions to technical problems encountered during operations.
- Coordinate root cause analysis investigations and prepare relevant reports.
- Develop transfer of knowledge and relevant solutions.
- Provide technical overview of production activities, recommending solutions.
- Provide technical coordination of operational issues with Corporate Engineering and Procurement.
- Prepare and manage planning minimum shut down maintenance together with Asset Maintenance dept.
- Management of change coordination for any change made to Production Facilities original design.
Additional Tasks
- During bidding phase, provide technical assistance to Proposal Manager.
- During project execution phase, provide technical assistance to Pre Operations Manager.
- At commissioning and operations start up, ensure smooth transition from commissioning team to normal operations.
- Review and comment operating manual and procedures.
- Redmark and keep updated engineering documentation as required during comms and ops.
- Participate in regular updating procedures and standards.
- Commissioning Engineering: Review HSE plan and procedures.
- Review test run procedure and operating manuals.
- Provide support during preparation of Precommissioning, Commissioning and Start up plans.
- Participate to design reviews (e.g. HAZOP, 3D model, Commissionability review meetings).
- Review commissioning spare parts list and consumables list.
- Prepare Purchase Requisitions and Technical Evaluation.
