Contribute to planning and implementation of Excitation/Synchro commissioning/engineering activities, identifying and developing new processes, techniques and solutions to meet current and emerging customer and business needs
Participate in internal project review meetings and provide technical inputs while managing customer relations at senior levels to deliver customized solutions that meet project requirements
Ensure approval of plant acceptance criteria, open issues closure, performance tests and adherence to safety standards
Lead risk and opportunity assessments for assigned projects, identify and report potential risks, evaluate mitigation options, and conduct Safety Observation tours to mitigate HSE hazards
Impart training and coach project teams towards safe working practices, contribute to continuous improvement of project processes, and actively share lessons learned to the knowledge repository
Create standard processes, tools, work plans and cost estimates in line with strategic priorities, ensuring all commissioning activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements
Support Project Managers/Site Managers in issuing claims (new scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.) and may manage commissioning teams as required
Manage external organizations to ensure availability of commissioning equipment, systems, or services in coordination with Supply Chain function, Project Manager and/or Site Manager
