Position Summary

Kitchen Duties

• Prepare ingredients through portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing.
• Store food and prepared ingredients appropriately.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.
• Prepare cold foods and operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test food for doneness and monitor food quality during preparation.
• Set up and break down the workstation and serve food in proper portions and receptacles.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Check and maintain correct appliance and food temperatures.

Safety and Team Standards

• Follow company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a manager.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain clean and professional personal appearance and uniform standards.
• Protect confidential information and company assets.
• Use clear and professional language, maintain positive working relationships, and support team goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Schedule and Position

• The schedule is full time.
• The position is non-management.
