Role Overview
Support bakery food preparation and daily kitchen operations under the direction of the Chef de Partie.
Maintain product quality, cleanliness, freshness, cost control, and compliance with company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective employee relations.
- Provide the Chef de Partie with daily operational and personnel information.
- Prepare bakery food items on time and to quality and quantity standards.
- Prepare daily food requisitions as assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, refrigerators, and freezers.
- Minimize spoilage and waste through proper storage and portion control.
- Follow cost control policies and procedures.
- Attend training sessions.
- Report equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
- Ensure products are fresh, suitable for use, and stored properly.
- Follow recipes prescribed by the Executive Chef.
- Comply with company operational policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to prepare bakery food items on time while meeting quality and quantity standards.
- Ability to follow recipes prescribed by the Executive Chef.
