Position Summary

Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.

Prepare baked foods using baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances safely.

Kitchen Responsibilities

  • Prepare, portion, chop, and store ingredients before use.
  • Follow food-safety, personal-hygiene, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
  • Check appliance and food temperatures and report issues to management.
  • Wash and disinfect the kitchen area and set up and break down the workstation.
  • Monitor food quality and portions throughout the shift.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is listed as preferred.
  • Less than one year of related work experience is listed as preferred.
  • No supervisory experience or license or certification is listed.

Schedule and Workplace

  • The position is full time.
  • The role is not located remotely and is performed in a hotel kitchen environment.

Physical and Conduct Expectations

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Work across sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and reach overhead and below the knees.

Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Follow company safety, security, quality, confidentiality, and professional conduct standards.

Communicate clearly, maintain positive working relationships, and support team goals.
